yea. I wondered what stretch you used twist. on my bike I used the gap between around 26th street on I-79 heading north until the slight hill where it drops limit and meets the beginning of the bayfront connector. I was able to cruise south scoping for the po po and estimate traffic, turn around at kearsarge/mall exit, then open it at will. You can also scan north bound as you cross over the overpass on the kearsarge exit to see what you'll be skipping past if anything. It's not a long distance but I don't think either your or my old vehicle takes all that long to get there.
That being said, in hindsight I don't think I ever got to hold it at speed, more like hammmer until it was time to brake and then glance at speed. No time to sit there and let it creep up.

I used the stretch on 86 between 90 and the 86 northeast exit. Just as you get off 90 onto 86 I just hit it. That's a long stretch and you hold it for a while but it's up hill, that doesn't help, lol.

I'm waiting for my latest addition to be delivered to my FFL. I ordered a Glock 30s from BudsGunShop. I will be alternating the XDs .45 and the Glock 30s for my EDC. .45 ACP is my favorite caliber

i was tempted to get my xds 4.0" in .45 buy my wallet said no.. save the money on the ammo until you're a beast at accuracy and then choose a 45 for your next one.
Now that the paychecks are coming in again I can see a christmas purchase already. Those budsgunshop prices are sick!

any input on gun belts? What I have sux. It's a cheapo belt that is three 1/4" straps of leather woven and it's curling where the holster rides, stretching, and generally a loose noodle. (ahh the innuendo available)
Figure it's a one time purchase for quite a few years so cost isn't as much an issue. I'm good up to $100.00. Read about beltman belts but even as patient as I am I can't wait 30-60 days for my purchase. Strongly looking at the comp-tac belt for $90 and readily available. Read tons of issues with the 5.11 tactical belt having leather peeling issues around the internal stiffener so even at the value of a $40 belt you get what you pay for.
idea's or thoughts? I'll be ordering monday or tuesday.

not sure about nylon but I'll give it a try. I ordered one of these for my leather fix: www.thebeltman.net/quick.htm 1 1/2" wide dual layer bull hide. I also have one of these coming to give my OCD review of as well: www.thewilderness.com/tactical-belts/original-instructor-belt/Absurd I know to spend that kind of money on belts but I've been enjoying the calmness that comes with extra defensive protection and I'm looking forward to not fighting with my deformed belt when I try and remove it from my belt loops. lol.

The 3.3 is super accurate for a tiny powerhouse. I always buy from Buds...can't beat their prices.

just picked up a walther PK380 for my girlfriend. LAXammo.com has a free ship deal on ammo so I ordered 500 rounds of 9mm and 500 of 380 of their "new" laxammo for testing. Also paid "rape me" prices for 50 rounds of russian ammo locally and "fair" prices for some decent brass in 380. I'm off to the range this morning to let my girl try out her new toy.
Her first gun purchase ever!
Did it right, went to twisters favorite store after stopping by the chain stores letting the teenagers try and sell her. The vietnam vet marine did his job well and I let them talk it up until the decision was made. She asked the questions, she touched all the guns, she made her decision and lo' and behold it's a great piece.
More to come.

Seems as if all the "stories" I've seen show that you will indeed someday get your product, just not in a timely manner.

Yea they get complained about all the time but I couldn't resist the price on some items so I bit, would've paid more if I would've realized it was gonna take this long! They sell items that they don't actually have in stock, HTF does that work?!?
