If you're insistent on bigger is better, may as well step up to .45 Consider this one: That guy shoots my sub compact .40 cal. glock like a pro. Which, by the way is a great gun. Super compact and packs a punch. Glocks have been dropped out of choppers, dunked in mud, sand, or whatever and always fire. The sub compact 40 can be a little hard to control because of the small handle and large kick, but you could purchase a magazine with an extra pinkie grip. here's info on the .40 and the 9mm I own a Glock 22. Very reliable and shoots well. The .40 kicks in a full-sized frame. I can only imagine how it is in a compact.

So Erie like I said I'm in the market for a small 9mm myself so after some research I have say forget about the Ruger LC9 or keltec. Keltec is questionable on reliability and the trigger on the LC9 is down right ugly. For $50 more ($400) the Ruger SR9c gets awesome reviews and is only a little bigger. Not a bad thing, makes a more accurate easier shooting gun. Think I'm settling on a SIG P290 or P239, can't make up my mind

I'm in agreement twist.. The ruger SR9c seems to be the one that I'm leaning on the heaviest for the money, size, and quality I'm looking for.

When you do "pull the trigger" try Bob's gun shop and Erie sports store, stay away from Gander mt. Try Bobs last though, I'm guessing he'll beat everyone else.

when I go there I'll be bringing you along as well. .... if nothing else he will LOVE that you've brought yet another customer through his doors that he's never seen before. When in business that goes a long way and if nothing else you should reap the rewards of the business friendship you've created through countless years of patronage.

LOL I don't think it gets much better than this, About a year ago I walk I and see this rifle that I "need" but don't have the funds in my checking account so I say to him "hey throw that thing in back and I'll come next week and pick it up", he says no I'll just loose track of who I'm holding it for (note that he's a grouchy guy and doesn't hold guns for people) so just take it and pay me later. I was a little shocked as it was a $1700 gun! So I show up the following Monday and he's closed, there's a sign on the door saying he"ll be closing all week at 3:00. I don't get out of work till 3:00 . I show up the following week and tell him I'm here to pay for that gun, he says "what gun?", lol. I guess that's when you know your in deep.....

I HATE those moments when that bad wolf is saying WALK THE FU^K OUT RIGHT NOW. I can never feed that wolf tho. But I sure do ponder on that moment for years after that, thinking I wonder if.... Which WOLF did u feed?

LOL with the money he's saved me over the years I'm probably more than $1700 ahead anyway so the "good" wolf won.

couldn't agree more.. heck, I had twister as a customer during our ATV years and even with the incredible deals I gave him we made plenty of money.. Well not really.. BUT huge amounts of cash flowed through the store and I made plenty of profit on others.. Sometimes cashflow is just as important.

My latest find, traded two rifles that I had about $385 into. This gun is worth $600 minim. It's a SIG P225 9mm 5rds at 20 yards freehand, shoots great!

(As in deer quote on quote animals not human beings lol I used to hunt. I've bagged a few whitetail, grouse, squirrels, rabbits, and the occasional varmit hunt to eliminate pests on farms. (pigeons, ground hogs, etc) I really think the last time I went hunting was about 20 years ago. Seems no matter what the scenario is I have to be very selective with what hobbies I choose to participate in as my wallet and time only allow for so much. Not to mention as you've all seen I need to dedicate the proper amount of time to each hobby so that my OCD is satisfied with each endeavor.

nice stretch... best I had on my old bike was 162.. course it was like sitting in a lawn chair while trying to hit max speed. Very nice. No matter the ride that brings everything into a tunnel.

Anything over 150mph is pretty crazy. That being said I have been in a 850hp 2012 Dodge Viper @ 180+. Words cannot describe the feeling.

i would concur vipr. 120 is moving along, 130 you start to notice, 140 makes you check that speedo again, over 150 and the eyes start to tunnel and the wind makes you start to tuck even when in a big ole' lawn chair of a motorcycle.
