Thread revive.. pulled back from the archives for another winter.
Currently Erie is number 1 top 10 snowiest cities of over 100K of people.
I've got four foot snow mounds on each side of my driveway and when I leave my driveway I feel like I'm in a bobsled as the snow mounds kind of guide the car as they wish.. steering has no effect.

82 in Santa Barbara yesterday (tied the 1980 record). 75 today. I guess that puts us near the bottom of the top . . . 1000.

we've had the biggest snow already than the past few years and temps are way below normal (about 20 below what they should be).

with over 6ft of snow already on the ground and another 15" due in the next 24 hours I'm expecting to stay #1 on the worst cities list.... When do they update the top ten most obese cities list?

we are holding just under 80 inches of snow.. thank goodness it's been milder since the vortex. Anyone with extra sunshine send it my way until I can move from this God forsaken frozen tundra.

Yesterday, it was 84 and still bone dry in Santa Barbara. San Luis Obispo (90 minutes north of us) had the highest temp in the contiguous states ( www.hpc.ncep.noaa.gov/discussions/hpcdiscussions.php?disc=nathilo). Seriously, WTF? I'll send you some sun if you send us some water. We're waiting for Gov. Brown to declare a drought emergency.

Waaaterrrr! Seriously, send us some. ;D Just get yourself a still and pick up some oceanwater. You could be distilling your own in no time at all. If I didn't live in this forsaken tundra I'd already be BF4 premium. Each time I go to the store and see the PSN cards for $50 on sale for $48 I think.... Premium?... or more wood pellets for the stove? as the shiver runs through my spine I load on a few more bags of pellets and walk by that stack of PSN cards.

Well Erie, a great suggestion for the water issue but "firewater" would be a better use for the still!!! Thanks for sharing that cold weather with we'ns in Tennessee!!! ;

ahh, firewater.... Funny to think how many of OTD remember me drinkin beers during gaming... I haven't let alcohol of any form pass my lips since 2008. Surprising it's been over 5 years since I've had one of my favorite beers.
now I've got to get back to my oven. Today is pita bread, whole wheat bread, and a 7 1/2 lb chicken. It's so freakin cold I've got the pellet stove going and the oven will be on all day. lol.

unfortunately we're still holding a lead of 11 inches in the number one spot at a total of 91 inches of snowfall for this winter... will it end? Will my gas bill remove food from my table? Will the oil solidify in my car?....
Can't wait till spring... well... spring in Erie which means June.

after shoveling today for over 3 hours I looked like I was in a wet Tshirt contest from sweating my man boobs off... official report is we got over 9"s of snow in the last 24 hours but personally I know I shoveled much more than that. Pretty sure our official total is about 104 inches for the season.
Mark my words.. I'm moving.
